Nazareth PA Balusters

Nazareth PA balusters on landing (before)The home owner originally wanted to replace the broken and mismatched balusters (Top and middle images) for the stair case as well as the railing on the top of the stairs landing. Take note that they also have young children who like to grab on the delicate balusters while playing and may break the repaired ones. The cost to replace and match the existing pine balusters which dated around 1900 would have been very expensive. So the alternative was to replace all the balusters (Bottom two images) with new stronger ones, match the stain and aged shellac look while keeping the existing handrails and box newels. The stairs now has a new mission style look which the home owners love.

“I had a hard time finding a handyman that would come by and repair my leaking water faucet. Michael said he would come by the next day and asked if there was anything else that might need some attention while he was there. So I put together a list and he did them all in one day!”
