Williams Township Columns

Williams Township Old ColumnsThe owners of this  colonial style home were not happy with the spindly turned columns on the portico. They wanted columns designed to fit the existing roof of the portico and mimic the same style and details of the house.

Williams Township Building New ColumnsAll the parts of the column were made off site in my shop and assembled on location.  All the wood boards were primed and the end grain sealed with marine grade epoxy. Stainless steel screws were used to reassemble the columns.

Using the correct materials and construction methods I can ensure that these columns will handle the weather and sun for years to come.

“I had a sensitive issue with a large picture window on my turn of the century farm house. Over the years, dry rot and carpenter ants destroyed the framework supporting the window. Mike was able to support the window without removing it, rebuild the framework and insulate the space, and then replace the aluminum siding. It looks great!”
